A little bit of sunshine!!!

Hi folks, me again!

I seem to be in my craft room at every available opportunity at the moment and it won't be long before my hubby makes some comment about not spending any time together, but I will be okay for tonight at footy is on the tv!

A bit of a different colour combination from me today.  These colours are not ones I normally reach for but I was inspired by the gorgeous papers and I must say I rather like them.   I am so in love with this adorable little image she is called 'Sunkissed' and is from Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps.

I decided to use a border all around my card this time and will definately be doing this again as I really like the outcome.  I don't have any Martha Stewart punch around the page sets but I do have a Multi-Shaper punch from Docrafts.  I have had this for ages and its a 5 in 1 punch you can do a border, circle, oval, square or corner and I think it cost me at the time around £15 so a lot cheaper than the MS ones.  Haven't seem them around for a bit though so if I want some more I may have to do a bit of searching!

A bit of a close up next so you can see the adorable image, isn't she sweet.  I coloured her mainly with Promarkers this time.  Need a little practice with these I'm finding them a little harder to use than copics.  My grass effect was made with Prisma pencils.

I've decided to list my colours this time just in case you want to know:-

Hair - Copics E31, E33, E35, E37, E29
Skin  -  E000, E00, E11, R20, R81

Trousers  -  Promarkers leaf green, bright green, forest green
Top  -  Buttercup, mustard, honeycombe
Flowers  -  Buttercup, mustard + copics E08, YR04

Grass  -  base colour Promarker meadow green and then
Prismas lime peel, kelly green, apple green

All flowers are from WOC as usual.  I didn't have a large rose in orange so edged a yellow one with a copic pen.  They've all been Stickled but not sure whether you can pick that up in the photo.

Challenges I would like to enter:-

Okay I think thats about enough waffle from me today.

Take care and happy crafting.
