Trick or Treat

Hello my lovelies I hope you are all well.  I'm back tonight to share with you my make for Crafty Sentiments Designs release week Day 3, albeit a little later than planned due to pesky internet problems.

So let me introduce you to this cute little dude he is 'Trick or Treat' and he's a digi so perfect for lots of different size projects.  I love it when I can resize to whatever I'm working on don't you.

I've made a milk carton treat holder with my nephew in mind.  He will love this if my daughter doesn't grab it first!!

Medium:  copics

My usual close-up.  I decided to cut him out and 3d him with some glue gel.

Copics used

Skin:  E000, E11, E13, R30
Hair:  E43
Clothes:  C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, 100
Treat Bag:  Promarkers Amber, Pumpkin, Bright Orange, Burnt Orange

Okay, this cute little dude can be found over in the Crafty Sentiments Designs store here and if you fancy and a little looksie at some gorgeous inspiration pop across to Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspiration blog here where you can see lots of gorgeousness from my teamies.

Okay time for me to go.  I've a list of stuff to get sorted as my son is off on his Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award this weekend and it's his birthday on Sunday so I've that to sort for when he gets back to and as usual I'm not organised lol.

I hope you have a fab weekend and if it's ploppy weather you have a perfect excuse to craft more!!

Take care.

4 December 2013

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Good morning everyone and its Wednesday so my turn to share with you my DTDF dt make.  Are you all organised for Christmas or are you like me and the panic is beginning to set in and the term 'headless chicken' comes to mind!!! Well I thought I would make little tree gifts this year and after having a little think decided to go down the milk carton route.

So here is my dinky little fellow (its only 9 cm x 4 cm) all decorated with the gorgeous papers from Simple Stories 'December Documented' and edged with Tim Holtz walnut stain distress ink.  I stamped a sentiment from Whimsy in Memento 'Tuxedo Black' and attached that to the front.  From start to finish it didn't take long at all so great to fit in with all of your other Christmas preparations - just another five to make now!

A look at the back of the box.  One of the sheets of paper is just full of these little calendar months I just cut it up and used one on the back.

It's not very often these days that I make something that doesn't require colouring but I really enjoyed making this carton so just need to go make another five now and fill with little choccies!

Thank you for popping in today folks.

Take care,
Ann-Marie

For those of you who are new to Whimsy Stamps, we hold a 3-day new release event each month: a Sneak Peek Blog Hop on the day before the release (yesterday), a Release Day Blog Hop on release day (today), and finally a Review Day Blog Hop (tomorrow) the day after the release.

Each blog hop has a prize of 2 new release stamps hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw!

For my creation I used the new Maribelle Milk Maiden by Elisabeth Bell with the sentiments Simple Sayings Notables 5 from Raindrop Echo Designs and felt it only fitting to make a couple of milk cartons and holder.  Here come the piccies:-
