A little Crafteezee goodness

Happy Monday crafty peeps.  I'm playing catch up with my posts so I'm popping in to share some Crafteezee All Dressed Up love with you today.

I have two cards to show so first up is a card using All Dressed Up 'Have an Ice Birthday' by Crafteezee and she's been coloured with copics to compliment the beautiful ScrapBoys 'Cotton Winter' papers.  I've matted them on to kraft as I love the look it gives with the soft colours of the papers.  All of the Crafteezee goodies I've used on my cards can be found over in the store and I've popped the links at the end of the post for you.

A little close up of the image ... she's a sweetie pie isn't she and perfect for those winter birthday cards.  She's definitely one of my faves for this time of year.

I cut a kraft swirly vine by using the Lady E swirls die and just popped a few little roses on it.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:-

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends  -  always anything goes

Stamping Sensations  -  favourite stamps

CRAFT  -  anything goes

All Dressed Up  -  anything goes

Crafty Gals Corner  -  winter fun

Okay so my next card to share is again using an All Dressed Up stamp by Crafteezee.  She is called 'Love to Dance' and I've used a mix of copics and spectrum noir markers to colour her.  I took my colour theme from the delicious Mintay 'old manor' papers and it's not a colour scheme I would normally think of using but oh boy do I love it!

A closer look at the image.  She's beautiful isn't she and so very easy to colour.  I fussy cut her out and raised her up with some 3d glue for a little added dimension.  I stamped the fab sentiment next to her and stamped, coloured and cut out the fab little accessary hearts and raised them up with 3d glue as well.

Just a little touch of lace, pearl trim and some gorgeous ribbon and I was happy my card was complete.

I'd like to enter my second card into the following challenges:-

Love to Craft  -  anything goes

Cardz for Galz  -  haberdashery

Cute Card Thursday  -  embellish it

Okay so that's me all caught up with my Crafteezee DT posts.  I've managed to grab myself a day off today so I was hoping to have a bit of a crafting session but unfortunately after a week back at school my daughter's managed to pick up a stinking cold so she's home bless her and hubby appears to be home for the day too, so I don't think my crafty session is going to go according to plan do you!?!

Take care folks and I'll catch up with you soon.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, yay!!!!

Happy Friday folks and I hope you are all well on this most soggy of days here in Bournemouth.

Well as it's Friday there is a new challenge up now on the Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge blog and I am popping in to share my DT make with you all.  The DT this week were given the theme of 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas' to work with but as always for all you crafty peeps it's an 'anything goes' theme to enter the challenge and we'd love to have you join us so we can visit all your lovely makes.

So what did I make, well I decided I wanted to do something to do with Advent so I've seen these Advent cards about and thought I rather liked the idea so had a little go. Well they are super easy and so cute.  I used a template which Norma kindly shared on her blog here which made it even easier!  I coloured up the beautiful Winnie stamp 'Lighting the Way Lantern' with a mix of copics and spectrum noirs.  All papers were printed from Winnie Winterland download kit and the actual Advent numbers I cut up from one of the papers too.

I've kept this one for myself and she's sitting proudly on my mantlepiece to mark each day of Advent.

So the Christmas decorating has begun and the house is in turmoil as I literally have boxes and boxes of the things and five trees to put up.  Yep, you did read right I said five, don't do things by halves here at Crimbly!!!!!

I'll pop back later and link up some challenges as work is calling and it's going to be a ploppy day unfortunately.

Take care and happy crafting.

When witches go riding .......

…. and black cats are seen,
the moon laughs and whispers
'Tis near Halloween ….

Hello crafty peeps, who love's Halloween? I know I do.  I'm not sure who has more fun trick or treating the kiddies or me lol and I love answering the door to all the little ones and to see them in their little costumes.  We always finish off the night with my favourite Halloween movie 'Hocus Pocus' every year without fail it's like a little tradition.  Of course it's only fair that I get to share a little of the candy whilst we're watching too.

So with Halloween fast approaching I've made myself a little hat shaped card and what better image to use with it than Polkadoodles cute little Winnie Wednesday Witch & Cat digi and I coloured her up to compliment the spookalicious Polkadoodles 'Halloween Trick or Treat' papers.  My card was real easy to do I just printed off a hat shape from the internet re-sized it in Word to what I needed and printed off a template.

Medium:  mix of Spectrum Noirs, Copics and Promarkers
Ribbon and flowers from stash

And, of course, a close up of Winnie.

So I'm rather in love with this little card so I shall be displaying her on my mantle come the 31st.

Okay so time for me to go cook tea as it won't cook itself, then I'm going to settle down at my craft desk I think with a hot chocolate, a movie playing on my laptop and do some colouring.  A perfect evening in my books.

Take care folks and happy crafting.

Well, it's Friday again so of course that means a new challenge goes live today over at the Polkadoodles Craft Challenge and I've popped in to share with you my DT make.  As always it's an 'anything goes' theme but the DT are all showcasing a little bit of paper piecing.  It's all about the image on this one so I chose a nice simple layout and I actually love it.

Medium:  copics

My usual close up.  She's a real cutie pie isn't she, love that hat!  As you can see I've paper pieced the dress and the cute bow to match the backing papers.  It all ties in beautifully I think.

'Sigh! Shoes!'

Happy Monday my crafty friends.  It's a beautiful spring like day here today, although the wind is still a little nippy but a gorgeous day all the same.

I'm popping in with a card to share and I've used another Polkadoodles cutie pie on this one. I'm so in love with these sweet little images there is always something for every occasion.  I was asked to make a card for someone with a slight obsession with shoes and I thought Winnie Fruit Punch 'Sigh! Shoes!' was just perfect.  Again I've teamed her up with some papers from Polkadoodles and they are just lush so pretty and fresh.

Medium:  copics/spectrum noirs
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts
Ribbon/Twine/Gems from stash

Okay so my usual close up of the image.  Adorable isn't she and so so easy to colour.

So the eldest of my little peeps has gone off to bed, the hubster has also climbed the wooden hill so I now a little time to do as I please.  I've just made myself a lovely cup of coffee, pulled out the 'cough cough' hidden Reese's peanut butter cups I've had stashed away and I'm now going to colour and craft to my hearts content for an hour or two ... complete bliss.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you've managed to grab yourself some crafty time also.  Take care.

Polkadoodles Craft Challenge

Good morning my lovelies on this very chilly Friday morning.  We have had the worst of our 'Beast from the East' weather yesterday and last night I think.  It's stopped snowing for now but I don't think we'll have any more much to the dismay of  my daughter.  Yes I was out in it yesterday having snowball fights so I've been out and had my fun so not venturing out today.

Anyway, I am here today to share my creation as a guest designer for the Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge.  I am so chuffed to be able to work with these gorgeous images and papers they really are beautiful and do you know they even do coloured digi images so if you're in a hurry or perhaps even just not confident enough with your colouring yet they are perfect.

So for my make I worked with the adorable Winnie Celebrations 3 'Graduation/You Passed' and made a bottle cover and little cap to match.  The sentiment is from one of their sets too they do some fab sentiment collections really useful and of course being digi you can re-size as you please.

Medium:  copics

Halloween Outfit

Good morning my lovelies I hope your day is getting off to a good start.  We have the usual rushed school routine here before I head out to work on this absolutely beautiful autumnal morning.

So before I dash out the door, I wanted to pop in and share with you my latest creation for Day 2 of Crafty Sentiments Designs new release week.  I got to play with 'Halloween Outfit' and she is adorable and she is a digi so you can resize for any number of projects which is just fab.  Now apart from the usual trick or treating I do with the kiddies we don't really go all out for Halloween which is a shame as I do love it and I think that just has to change.  So I decided last year that I would make myself a new decoration each Halloween to put up rather than buy any and this year I opted to make a fun Halloween wreath.  I'm so pleased with how it turned out I may just make another.

Medium:  copics/spectrum noirs
Papers and ribbon from stash
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts

I thought I'd have a go at making myself a silver glitter cobweb to go at the back of the wreath.  I made this with my hot glue gun.  I just found myself a cobweb image to print off from Google, put some greaseproof paper over the top and used it as a template.  It was so simple and it turned out really effective.

My usual close-up of the cute image and I've used a mixture of Copics and Spectrum Noirs to colour her in.

Why not pop across to Crafty Sentiments Designs Inspiration blog here and have a good old gander at some of my teamies makes, you won't be disappointed I promise and don't forget this new release week are digis and can be found over at Crafty Sentiments Designs store here.

Okay, time for me to dash.  I'll be back tomorrow to share with you another little Halloween make I've made.

Take care and happy crafting.
