Whimsy Challenge Time

Hi everyone a very happy Wednesday to you and one day closer to the weekend.  Well I think Autumn has sort of arrived here the weather has definitely changed its been a bit grotty the past few days but the weekend is meant to be better so I'm planning to drag the kiddiewinkles and hubby for a walk in the forest.  We have been finishing off our walks with an ice cream but I think those days may have gone for this year but no worries I think we'll stop for a hot chocolate and a slice of apple pie instead!

Well as the title suggests its time for the Whimsy rubber team to show you their makes for the challenge over at the Whimsy Inspirations blog.  The theme this month is Masculine Cards and I was a little stumped for a bit as masculine isn't something I do very often.  Anyway here is what I came up with.

As you can see very clean and simple.  I used the new release Holiday Sliders 3 sentiments which can be found HERE and stamped them with Tim Holtz Distress Ink 'fired brick'.  They're fab sentiments and they stamp beautifully.  I cut them out using the new release Slider 3 die which can be found HERE and matted them onto black card.  To get the correct shape for the black mat I just placed the die on the black card, drew around the outside of the die to give me that next size up mat and cut it out.

Sorry for my wonky picture taking skills, they're straight in real life I promise you!

Anyway, we would love to see your take on masculine cards so why not pop over HERE and join in the fun - as always there are three prizes up for grabs!

Okay folks whilst I'm here don't forget today is Whimsy Stamps Release Day and as usual we have our preview (yesterday), release day (today) and review day (tomorrow) blog hops going on.  So pop over to the Whimsy Inspirations Blog HERE to check out all the Whimsy gorgeousness being released this month.  You're going to love them!!!

Right time for me to go but see you same time same place tomorrow as I'll have some more Whimsy inspiration to share with you.

Take care,
Ann-Marie
