It never rains but it pours!!

Are you ready for this extra long post. If you get bored before the end I can only apologise, but I did warn you that "it never rains but it pours!!!!"

Okay, so I apologise I haven't managed to blog everyday, but I have managed to finish off some cards I had lying around that were not quite finished. I have a very bad habit of flitting from project to project before I've finished them so at any one time I could have two or three on the go. Might explain why my craft stash is always in such a complete mess.

Anyway, first up is a card I made following a sketch challenge (I think it was a Sugar Bowl one) but I cut it way too fine and missed the deadline.

Recipe:

Stamps: Sugar Nellie "windswept" from Funky Kits coloured with copics
Paper: Paper Cellar
Tools: Martha Stewart doily border punch, nesties

This card was made with a stamp from The Greetings Farm entitled "Edward" and I think he is adorable and so versatile. I struggle with mens cards so I was quite pleased with how this turned out. He is coloured with my beloved copics. I'm not finding them as easy as I thought they would be but I do love them and the effect they give. I'm not one for giving up so will continue to practice, but I have a way to go.

Paper: Dovecraft masculine set
I'm sure all you seasoned crafters out there have realised I used peel offs a bit for sentiments. I know quite a few people don't like them, I think they are okay I am just finding them useful at the moment as a stop gap as I do not have many greetings stamps yet, but as my stash grows I am sure I will not be using them half as much.
And finally (at last I hear you sigh!)

This is my first ever Magnolia. I only have two at the moment and this was the one I chose to ink up first. I tried and I tried not to buy any but every time I looked at them and saw creations you were all making with them I caved and bought myself a couple.

Recipe:

Stamp: Magnolia "Tough Edwin" coloured with copics
Paper and buttons from stash (sorry cannot recember where the paper is from)

Okay, that is finally it from me for today. If you are still with me at this point I am so very grateful for you taking the time to hop on to my little blog. If you feel you would like to leave a comment that would be lovely and I would love to read what you think and really do appreciate it. Okay I really am off now as I've just checked the time (2.30 a.m) and I won't want to get up if I dont go get some shut eye.

Hugs to everyone.
Luv
Ann-Marie
