'Laughter is the best medicine'

Good evening folks, a bit of a late pop in from me, but I thought I would do it now anyway otherwise come tomorrow it will go right out of my head!

So I am here to share with you my Dies to Die For make and I've I had a little change from making Christmas cards and made a card just a little out of my comfort zone as there is not an image or copic in sight!  I used some gorgeous paper from The Scrapcake 'My Private Happiness' pad and boy this is just beautiful so pretty and just decided to team it up with a sentiment from a Paper Smooches set called 'Uplifters' and thought the sentiment and paper complimented each other lovely.  I added a little ribbon tied into a big bow and popped a Prima crystal on top for a little bling.

Before I go I would like to enter this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which this week the theme is 'anything goes'.

Okay, time for me to go I have a coffee brewing and some catch up telly awaiting me along with a little crafting to finish the night off.

Take care.

A Christmas Bauble

Good evening my lovelies I hope you have been enjoying a great weekend.  We've had a good one here; a spot of baking, a little shopping, a bit of crafting and I even sneaked in a festive Costa - chocolate orange hot choccy and a cheeky mince tart mmmm!

Anyway, I'm here to share with you my Dies to Die For dt make for this week and yes once again it is Christmas related!  I've been spying a few baubles around blogland lately and decided to have a go myself.  The base has been cut from a leftover piece of mount board I had lurking around and a shape printed off the internet.  The cute little image I used is from Taylored Expressions and called 'Wishes on a Wire' and it was real easy to colour up with my copics - I just love those little robins!  The papers were my colour inspiration and are Bazzill 'Countdown to Christmas' so love the rich colours in this set.  A little ribbon and lace, a few flowers and lots of Stickles and my bauble was finished.

Copics list

Red:  R32, R35, R37, R39
Green:  YG13, YG63, YG67
Brown:  E50, E53, E57
W7 for extra shadow

Okay, time for me to go I have the school uniforms to iron - lovely NOT! so speed ironing here I come and then a spot of colouring I think.

Take care.

Hello my lovelies and a very happy Sunday to you.

Well I'm popping in today to share with you another Christmas card but this time a bookatrix one.  I love making these for a change and you can embellish them up as much or as little as you like.  Anyway, I inked up a favourite Bildmalarna stamp of mine called 'Mimosa - Christmas Flower' and coloured her up with my copics.  I went for a simple colour theme to match the Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics '9th of December' papers I used and added lots of Glamour Dust and Stickles.  Links to all the goodies are below for you.

Whimsy Stamps DT Call

Hello my lovelies, a quick pop in from me today to share with you a little Whimsy something I have made to enter their DT call.   I was on the fab team previously but took a little time away as life was a little hectic but I was still never very far away from a Whimsy stamp!  Anyway I saw this little sleigh gift box and thought what a cute idea - I always make something a little different for family and this was perfect.  It was really quite simple to do and the link is here to the instructions.  I knew exactly what image I was going to ink up so let me show you a couple of piccies of how it turned out.

Medium:  copics
Papers:  First Edition 'Nordic Christmas'
Dies:  Marianne Design 'Christmas Tree', Joy Crafts 'Winter Wishes Snowflake border'
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts and stash

A little close up of the adorable image.  So so cute isn't he and definitely one of my favourites and I think he will be on quite a few of my cards this Christmas!

Okay, that's all from me today.  I hope you have a great weekend and get time to do a little crafting.

Take care.

"Toboggan for Two"

Hello and happy Monday folks.  It's a rather wet and soggy Monday but the upside is it's a perfect day for crafting!

Anyway, I'm popping in briefly tonight to share with you another Christmas card as I think I need to get a little bit of a move on with my collection - have a few but not enough.  So this time I dug out a Lili of the Valley Stamp called 'Toboggan for Two' and it's so cute and would you believe I bought this a while ago and hadn't even inked it up what was I thinking!!

Medium:  copics
Dies:  Spellbinders 'Poinsettia' dies, Joy Crafts 'Winter Wishes Snowflake' border
Metal Corners: Wild Orchid Crafts
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts
Doilies, ribbon, pearls from stock

You can see I let loose with the Frantage.  I used it on the snowflake border and also the metal corners which started out as gold coloured.

Last piccie is a close up of the adorable image.  I've added a nice helping of glamour dust and on the poinsettia I've used Twinklets.

Challenges I would like to enter:-

Simon Says Stamp  -  anything goes

LOTV  -  Merry Christmas

Stamping Sensations  -  Christmas

Okay time for me to go, thank you so much for popping in it is, as always, very much appreciated.

Take care and happy crafting.

Warm Hands, Warm Heart

Well hello my lovelies how are we all on this fine Sunday evening.  It's been a mixed bag of weather here today in Bournemouth - I woke to brilliant sunshine, then it came over all gloomy and still and then came the rain and we've had a veg in front of the telly, hot choccie and pj's kind of day today seeing as it's the kiddies last day before going back to school tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm popping in to share with you another Christmas card I've made to add to my little stock.   I decided to ink up Whimsy Stamps 'Warm hands, warm heart' by Time for Tea Designs and used Bazzill 'Nordic Pines' papers and coloured my image to co-ordinate with them.  My image was stamped in Memento 'rich cocoa' ink in keeping with the warmth of the card and inked up a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps 'Tis the Season Notables 5' set again in Memento 'rich cocoa' and distressed it a little with Tim Holtz 'walnut stain'.  Added a few flowers and a little ribbon to finish my card off and I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

Medium:  copics
Flowers:  Wild Orchid Crafts
