Bildmalarna 'Under the Stars'

Hello my lovelies, how are you all so far this week?  We have been busy here going down the beach and seeing family.  That's what I love about summer and holidays all the last minute bbq's and beach trips with friends and family never a dull day!

Okay so I'm popping in today to share my Dies to Dies For inspiration and I have a little something Christmassy to show you.

First off I chose my image and I have a soft spot for Bildmalarna images so I used 'Under the Stars' and I so love this stamp.  Next I chose my papers and went with Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics '8th December' and '9th December' and these are simply beautiful folks.  I decided to distress the edges a little with my scissors and then inked over them with Tim Holtz 'Walnut Stain' distress ink.  A few dies used on my card this time so I've listed them below with links to the store as usual.  What I love about Christmas cards is I can add tons of sparkles so my card would not be complete without a dose of 'star dust' Stickles on a few edges and die cuts.

Papers:  Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics '8th December' & '9th December'

Okay that's all from me today, enjoy the rest of your day.

Take care.

A little bit of Pion Design - Dies to Die For DT

Hello everyone, just realised I haven't shared my Dies to Die For inspiration with you all this week so I'm popping in with my card which I've made from lots of goodies available over in the Dies to Die For store.

My card has been made using some beautiful Pion Design papers.  I didn't use a stamped image but used the Pion Design 'Shoreline Treasures - Iris Sibirica' and cut out the iris from the paper with my Spellbinders die.  I also used Pion Design 'Shoreline Treasures - Seahorse' papers and matted them onto some blue card.  My favourite corner flourish Cheery Lynn 'Victorian Romance Flourish' got another outing I do so love this die its just so pretty and also an Impression Obsession 'Love Birds' die and everything had a bit of a distress with Tim Holtz 'Walnut Stain' distress ink.  To add a little sparkle I added some glitter accents with 'Star Dust' Stickles.  Once I'd decided where everything was going this card didn't really take that long to make it was just a case of sticking everything into place.  I think I may give this one to my aunt for her birthday in a couple of days as blue is her favourite colour and all.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Bunny Zoe's Crafts  -  Bingo (lace, pearls, diecut)

Creative Inspirations  -  Distressing

Okay my lovelies, time for me to toodle on off.  I hope you are having a fabulous weekend and getting to do all the things that make you happy.  Its a little on the quiet side here today, my son is in wind down mode as he finished school for the summer holidays yesterday and my little girl has just gone round a friends to play so in theory that should mean I have time to play in my craft room!

Take care.

Sweet Lizzy Strawberries

Happy Wednesday folks I hope your week is going well so far.

Just a quick pop in from me today to share some Dies to Die For inspiration.  Well at the weekend we had our first trip of the summer to the strawberry fields to pick a couple of punnets of my most favourite fruit.  Such a simple thing to do but it is one of the things I most look forward to in the summer months so as soon as I saw this Joy Crafts image 'Lizzy Strawberries' I couldn't wait to ink her up and she's on offer too over at Dies to Die For.  The Basic Grey papers 'Herbs & Honey' were perfect to go with the image they even had a sheet with strawberries on so naturally I had to use that one.  A little ribbon, twine and gorgeous little strawberry charm and my card was done.

Challenges I would like to enter:-

The Sketchy Challenge  -  fabby sketch

Papertake Weekly  -  anything goes

Allsorts Challenge  -  summer girls

Sweet Stampin  -  summer fun

Okay that's all from me.  Enjoy the rest of your week folks and happy crafting.

Take care.
